About the Project

The Curriculum Development in Clinical Dentistry Treatment with Haptic-Based Virtual Reality Application (CDHVR) project is an Erasmus+ Higher Education project aimed at developing and implementing a comprehensive and effective curriculum for virtual reality-based dentistry education. This curriculum will enhance students’ learning experiences by combining haptic feedback technology with virtual reality simulations, allowing them to practice clinical dentistry treatments in a safe and controlled environment. The project team will identify the specific learning objectives and outcomes necessary for virtual reality-based dentistry education. The curriculum approaches for this education will be examined within the scope of the European Union, and based on the findings, workshops will be organized and evaluated. A new curriculum will be prepared, and infrastructure will be established to ensure that the facilities available at different universities can also be accessed in our country. This initiative is expected to make a significant contribution to the dissemination of virtual reality-based training in dental faculties in our country. The project outcomes consist of four deliverables.
